Mr. and Mrs. Nick Reimer in their nursery admiring roses. The Nikolai Reimer family arrived in Yarrow in February 1928. In 1938, after eight years of almost fruitless labor, Nikolai Reimer decided to try nursery work, a dream he had while growing up in Russia. Reimer nursery business expanded to become a wholesale business which continued to be run by descendants of the Reimers.
