This photo is of people standing around on the Soto Reserve. There is a white flag in the middle of the picture, and a man who appears to be about to take off his hat. The reverse of the photo has the name "Paul Keeper" inscribed, possibly the man with the had off (there is a pen marking).
This photo is of the chief of the Soto Reserve in Little Grand Rapids standing in the middle with a tent structure on the right. JM and Mary Schmidt worked as missionaries in the area, 1947-1948.
