The fonds contains bulletins (1960-2002), annual reports (1972-1993), congregational meeting minutes (1973-1977), church council meeting minutes (1973-1975), programmes (1973-1984), newsletters (1989-1990), a 1990 membership list, and a 1992 directory. The records go back to the beginning of Zion Mennonite Church as independant and separate from the Emmaus Mennonite Church. They document the activities and development of this congregation, its leaders and participants.

This comprehensive collection of church records includes annual meeting and history reports; minutes of church council, commission and annual meetings; reports from Women's meetings, anniversaries, library, and other groups; bulletins, calendars, phone lists, etc. The records are primarily grouped by terms of service by church pastors.

This set of photos is found in the Zion Mennonite Church organizational collection II-1893 at PNMHS archives.

While these records include a handful of typical congregational records (primarily bulletins), the bulk of the collection consists of sound recordings and transcripts associated with the "Peace Stories Oral History Project" of 1990-1994.  The oral history project sought to document the experiences of conscientious objectors in the congregation and resulted in over 20 interviews. Other materials include administrative documents and publications associated with the oral history project.
