As students they rented 3 rooms in a widow's house. Epp brothers in one room, Abraham Regier and 2 Thiessens (from Kherson?) in second room, and a Swiss student in third room.

Dietrich Elias (cousin of Anna (Elias) Toews, who later disappeared. His half-brother was Heinrich Epp, Abraham P. Regier's secretury during the emigration. His mother was Elizabeth Koop, a distant relative of Margaretha (Kroeger) Regier.
