During the first years of their life in Canada, the Voth and Klassen families worked as hired labour for various farmers in the area of Rivers and Marquette. In this photo (the date April 1926 is inscribed), they are pictured at a railway siding, moving house with all their belongings, presumably to another farm.
People lining the rail station platform for a special event. Band stand with Union Jack in the distance. Water tower, train and 4 grain elevators in back ground.
