Peter Yoder Account Book and Remedy Book
This small collection was created by Peter Yoder, the grandfather or Walter E. Yoder, THe account book provides a record of the settling of family estates, sales of goods, loans, and monetary transactions performed on behalf of others. The remedy book contains instructions for treating various human and animal maladies as well as recipes for tanning leather, making cement, etc.

This fonds consists of one ledger that records grain and land prices around the turn of the 20th century. There are financial records related to the support for the local school and for fire insurance levies. There is also some prose written by William Friesen. The materials give a sense of the economic conditions and show some of the activities the Mennonite ministers in the Rosenheim area of Manitoba at that time.

A notebook in German script that served as both an account book and a record of deaths. Inside the notebook is a partially-completed birth certificate for a Rebecca König born in Fairfield County, Ohio, and an 1886 letter discussing financial matters.

Consists of Cornelius Voth's "Ein Schreibe Buch" which was continued by his son-in-law Peter Balzer.
The first two pages have recipes for remedies for stomach ache, the plague, etc. written by Peter Balzer.
Next is a 17 page family history section.
Pages 1, 2, and 3 are more remedies for illneses.
Up to p. 203 is miscellaneous poems, songs, speeches, sermons, etc.
Then several blank pages.
Page 233 starts a diary followed by accounts of what he borrowed from various people.
