While these records include a handful of typical congregational records (primarily bulletins), the bulk of the collection consists of sound recordings and transcripts associated with the "Peace Stories Oral History Project" of 1990-1994.  The oral history project sought to document the experiences of conscientious objectors in the congregation and resulted in over 20 interviews. Other materials include administrative documents and publications associated with the oral history project.

Administrative records pertaining to the young people's magazine of the (old) Mennonite Church.  While Youth's Christian Companion was published from 1938 to 1968, these records cover only the last eight years of the periodical's run.  Records consist primarily of correspondence documenting reader reactions to magazine content.

A small set of personal papers created by a Japanese Mennonite poet. Yaguchi's correspondence consists of incoming letters from English language poets, including James Kirkup, Bill Costley, Sajed Kamal, Jonas Negalha, Robert Bly, Anne Sexton, Gary Snyder, William Stafford, and R. S. Thomas. Other materials include miscellaneous poetry manuscripts and an interview transcription with Yujin Yaguchi, Yaguchi's daughter.

Scattered family records including family histories, a passport, a birth- and baptism certificate, and assorted correspondence.

A thin folder of Betty Weber's incoming and outgoing correspondence pertaining to children's stewardship of mission and relief work.  The correspondence came about as a follow up to an article that appeared in the (old) Mennonite Church periodical Words of Cheer in 1947.

This collection contains bulletins, meeting minutes, newsletters, and various other church documents. The records begin in 1949 and the last accession ends in 2012.

A small set of financial records, including ledgers (1944-1962, 1987-1989, and 1995-1996) and annual treasurer's reports (1974-1988, 1995-1997).  These records also include treasurer's correspondence, most of which acknowledges financial gifts received (1924, 1943-1963).

Records pertaining to the literary functions of the Women's Missionary and Service Commission, including the production of publications and reading lists and the supplying of free literature to missionaries.  These records are divided into three series:

(1) Publications, 1952-1996 (2) Administrative Records, 1929-1997 (3) Mennonite Women: A Story of God's Faithfulness Research Files, circa 1975-1983

Correspondence files of two presidents of the Women's Missionary and Service Commission (WMSC):  Lina Ressler (1929-1938) and Minnie Graber (1951-1959).  Ressler's correspondence comprises only one folder of this set of records.  The remaining materials pertain to the presidency of Minnie Graber. Most correpondence appears to be among various WMSC executive committee members.

Assorted photographs, most pooly labeled and identified, from the 1960s depicting various meetings, speakers, and worship services of the Women's Missionary and Service Commission.  Researchers may find original photographs used in Women's Missionary and Service Commission publications in these records.  Also among these records are several photographs of Annie Vallotton, illustrator of the Good News Bible, first published in 1966.

A small set of records documenting relationships between the Women's Missionary and Service Commission and three other Mennonite women's groups:  Grupos Hispanos Femeniles del la Iglesia Menonita, Central Women's Organization of the Mennonite Church in India, and the Northwest Ohio Mennonite Business and Professional Women's Organization. Records consist primarily of correspondence, event programs, and a scrapbook.

A hodgepodge of records pertaining to the work of the Women's Missionary and Service Commission.  Of particular interest are documents pertaining to the relationship between Mennonite Disaster Service and the Women's Missionary and Service Commission and a paper entitled "The Mennonite Women's Missionary Society" (1926).

Correspondence and subject files maintained by Marian Hostetler, executive secretary of the Women's Missionary and Service Commission from 1987 to 1996.  Materials include information on the business and professional women's interest group, scholarship information, memos sent to executive committee members, scripts of skits, correspondence with conference WMSC leaders, and slide shows produced for Mennonite Church General Assemblies,

Correspondence and subject files of the lead staff person for the Women's Missionary and Service Commission (WMSC).  These files primarily document the tenure of Beulah Kauffman (1966-1978), but also include documentation from other executive secretaries, including Florence Shantz (1956-1958), Doris Snyder (1958-1959), Dorothy McCammon (1960-1966) and Barbara Reber (1979-1986).  Researchers will find that materials in these records provide information about both the WMSC's activities and the WMSC's relationships to other Mennonite organizations.
