Correspondence

Primarily incoming correspondence to Burkholder. Of particular note are the congratulatory letters he received upon his appointment as Goshen College President and correspondence with Paul Miller regarding Reba Place. Also includes six letters from his mother to his wife (Harriet Lapp Burkholder).

Photographic prints of Jacob Sudermann and his family members, including his mother, Amy Greaves Sudermann Enss, his father, Jacob Sudermann, his stepfather, Gustav Enss, and his wife, Hilda Sudermann.

Photographs

Photographs of Ernest E. and Ruth Blosser Miller and family, as well as photo albums from Ernest E. Miller's relief work in Turkey (1917-1920), Goshen College and earlier teaching assignments in Plainview, Texas and LaGrange County, Indiana. Other images depict the Millers' mission service and trips abroad.

Teaching Materials

This series documents Mumaw's career as an educator. It includes course syllabi, lesson plans, assignements, and course evaluations for courses taught at Eastern Mennonite University, Goshen College, and Oregon State University. These materials include documentation of Mumaw's home economics seminar and maternal and child nutrition seminar in Jamaica, most notably follow-up evaluations with alumni of the maternal and child nutrition seminars and cassette tapes of lectures delivered during the 1976 seminar. Researchers should note the presence of a syllabus and other materials relating to a popular Goshen College course that Mumaw did not teach -- Family Life 300: Human Sexuality, taught by Dr. Willard Kraybill (Fall 1985).

Vladimir Bubalo Papers

Documents pertaining to or created by Vladimir Bubalo (1934-1989), Sylvia Gross Bubalo's husband.  Materials include correspondence pertaining to his conscientious objector status and his art, love notes exchanged with Sylvia Gross Bubalo, photographs of his paintings, information on his exhibits and work as an artist and graphic designer, selected sketches, drawings, and graphic design work, and materials from his memorial service in 1989.
