Church at Steegen

This photo is of a church in Steegen (Poland). It was formerly a Protestant church but is now a Catholic church. The church has a tall spire with a flag at the very top. There is a clock on the face of the steeple. The front of the church is Tudor style. At either side of the church are trees. A path leads to the church.

Graves of soldiers

This is a photo of the Steegen Cemetery containing the graves of soldiers. There is a wooden cross with a shield on it at the front of the photo. Other crosses can be seen in the background. The cemetery is overgrown with grass and trees.

Steegen Cemetery

This is a photo of the bottom part of a wooden cross with a shield attached to it at the Steegen Cemetery. Most of the writing on the shield is illegible, but the date "13. III. 1945" and the German words for "mourned and never forgotten" can be seen. The cemetery is overgrown with grass and trees.

This is a photo of the pipe organ in the church at Steegen. There are seven sets of ornate pipes topped with figurines of angels. The ceiling is painted with Biblical scenes. A model of a three-mast ship is suspended from the ceiling in front of the organ.
