Used in CM 16-20-10 before he became pastor of the Vancouver Mennonite Mission Church He had been a high school teacher and a pastor. His wife Lillian taught kindergarten. They had 2 children, Laurel (3 1/2?) & Morlin (1 1/2?).
Informal photo. She is wearing a small checked dress with a wide collar, costume jewelry and a small brimless white hat. On the back of the photo is written Justice. Used in the CM 3-9-7. She was with the MB Mission in India.

Used in CM 12-11-4 when he received the Woodrow Wilson Fellowship at the U. of Man. The scholarship gave a stipend of $1,800.00 plus tuition costs. His plans were to use it for graduate studies at an American university.
Used in CM 8-22-1 with article "Books of Mennonite Author Reach 40,000 Circulation In '56." She sold her first short story in 1949. On the back of the photo is written "May 5 Today cover."
Wedding photo of the Epps with them standing in front of closed drapes. To the right a plaque with a verse on it can be seen on the wall; such plaques were used in wall decoration in Mennonite homes.

Negative also. Used in CM 9-33-3 when she began a 2 yr. term of service with MCC in Jordan. This photo shows her when she rec'd her RN degree in Vancouver, B.C. She had also completed a BRE at the MBBC in Wpg. in 1959.

Two copies of photo. Used in CM 3-37-7. He is sitting in front of his typewriter reading the CM. Recently he had part'd in the 25th anniversary of the Mennonite Church at Carrot River, Sask. of which he was the founder.
Used in CM 16-18-1 with article on the car accident near Elkhart, Ind. in which his wife died & he was injured critically. He was Assoc. Prof. of Music at Goshen College at the time.
He had volunteered for short-term work with the MB B. to teach secondary school and train leaders in the Congo. He was from Collinsville, Okla. See CM 15-28-3.
