Abraham P. Regier and Margarethe (Kroeger) Regier photograph collection

This series contains the photograph collection of the Regiers. Photographs of family and friends taken in Russia are included. Scope and content notes for individual photographs is supplied from information on the photographs themselves, and Henry Regier.

Alternative Service in Russia and Canada

This series consists of correspondence related to reunions of men who were in the forestry service in Russia, as well as the Alternative service rendered by conscientious objectors (C.O.'s) in Canada. There are 196 slides pertaining to Forstei workers in Russia and the Alternative Service of C.O.'s in Canada with an accompanying sound recording. There is also a manuscript written by a young American Mennonite soldier of World War I.

Files include records of MCC work from 1920 to 1935. Sub-series include Levi Mumaw's correspondence (Executive Secretary 1920-1935), immigration files of the first 62 refugees assisted by MCC, records of the material aid and efforts to assist refugees in Constantinople (present Istanbul, Turkey).

Maxwell H. Kratz was one of three men elected to the first Mennonite Central Committee on 27 September 1920. He was active in the leadership of MCC during its first projects of Russian relief, the purchase of land in Paraguay, and its incorporation. IX-02 includes Maxwell H. Kratz's MCC correspondence 1921-1934 related to 62 Russian refugees immigrating to the U.S. from Constantinople (present Istanbul, Turkey) and refugee immigration to Paraguay.

Zur Ukraine Reise lese man die Serie „Ukraine: Streiflichter aus der alten Heimat“, die in 25 Teilen im Mennoblatt 2019 Nr. 22 bis 2020 Nr. 22 erschienen ist. Diese Serie, grösstenteils von Jacob Harder verfasst, ist nicht nur ein Reisebericht, sondern ein geschichtlicher Rückblick in die alte Heimat, mit Fotos von dieser Reise wie auch aus verschiedenen Archiven bereichert.
