Family portrait

This is a portrait of an unknown mother and her two children. The mother is seated and holding her naked younger child. She is wearing a long dark dress. On her left hand is a wedding band and her watch is visible under the cuff of her dress. The other child standing on the chair is a girl. She is wearing a dark dress that reaches above the knees and is tied just below the waist. She is holding a doll that looks to have a porcelain head and a soft body. Mother and daughter have dark hair.
The bottom right corner is imprinted with a name, possibly the photographer.

Group photograph of people outside boxcars in Russia

This is a very small photograph of a group of people standing outside of boxcars on a railway. They are presumably on their way out of Russia in 1924. On the boxcar you can see the Russian USSR and hammer and sickle symbol. This photograph is similar to Item 100 and may contain some of the same people. The people are plainly dressed, the women's dresses are long.

Photograph of a Russian house

This is a photograph of a Russian house and/or barn. Six unknown adult males are in the photograph as well as two children. All appear to be wearing warm clothing. Two men are pointing to the dates on the wall 1797 - 1900. [Is this a photo of the oldest house in the Mennonite village built in 1797? CDS]

Portrait of two small boys

This photograph is of two young unnamed boys, possibly brothers. The elder one is standing and the younger one is seated. Both are wearing knee breeches and a sailor top with large collar, white stockings and black shoes. The younger boy is seated on a well-upholstered chair. The older boy has his left arm around the younger. The inscription on the reverse of the photograph reads "zum Geburtstag am 15. Maerz 1912".
