This photo shows a belt-powered McCormick Deering threshing machine on display at the Mennonite Heritage Village in Steinbach. This photo was part of a trip that Betty Newfeld took, and served as the basis for her collection of stories "Exploring Manitoba Highways and Byways". See volume 5561 file 1.

Formal photo. Metal plate. Used in the CM 16-37-1 when he died at the age of 80. He had been a teacher, businessman, geneologist & together with his sister Maria began the first hospital in Steinbach.
