Used in the CM 9-11-5. C. J. Rempel, president of the local Gideons, presents a handicapped grade 5 girl, Lorraine Bauman, with a gold-covered New Testament at the Rotary Children's Centre on King Street in Kitchener, Ont. The Gideons International was giving these Bible to carefully selected grade 5 students in each of the local branches in honour of their 50th anniversary.

The General executive of the Mennonite World Conference, Planning Committee for the conference to be held in Kitchener, Ont. In 1962. In the front row l-r: C. J. Rempel, J. B. Martin and Brethren in Christ bishop E. J. Swalm? The ohters are not identified. Perhaps this was the meeting of the Presidium in Kitchener in 1961 mentioned in the article in the CM 9-42-2. Edgar Metzler interviews Vincent Harding

Enlarged for use in CM 10-31-6; neg also. Edgar Metzler, pastor of First Mennonite Church in Kitchener (Ontario) And Exec. Sec. of MCC Peace Section, interviews Vincent Harding leader of the MCC unit in Atlanta, Georgia on the CKCO-TV's program "The Minister's Duty." It was one of the daily television interviews done on this station during the 7th MWC.

Used in CM 10-31-7. Of the aproximately 300 people who used translation receivers at the 7th MWC, 4 are shown here: Dr. Hans Rempel and Gerhard Baerg. Both men were from Germany and the women beside them are probably their wives. The woman at far right is probably Mrs. Irene Neufeld, who served as a missionary with her husband in Austria.

It is taken towards the platform, from behind the audience near the back of the auditorium. Compare to photo used in CM 10-31-5, a Hunsberger photo which is somewhat similar but taken at an angle.

Used in CM 12-43-4. Three young people: Linda Snyder, Douglas Fretz and Maryann Gascho of First Mennonite Church, Kitchener, Ontario sort and fold blankets at the MCC (Ontario) Clothing Depot. The work party was sponsored by the Mennonite Youth Fellowship of the First Mennonite and Rockway Mennonite churches.
