Adam H. Mumaw Papers 1964-1974
A small collection of poems, sermons and devotional writings,and reminiscences authored by a Mennonite dairy farmer in the Wooster, Ohio area near the end of his life. These papers provide a good example of lay spirituality in themid-century (old) Mennonite Church. Mumaw wrote about a number of topics, including suicide, lending money, and leisure time. His reminiscences include an account of his expoeriences as a conscientious objector in World War I. Information about the Jonas Smucker homestead may also be found in these papers. This collection also includes materials by and about Mumaw's wife, Clara Zook Mumaw. These include a poem, home remedies, miscellaneous writings, and genealogical information about the David S. Zook family.

Correspondence between John M.T. Miller and his father, Moses D. Miller. John was born and raised in Holmes County, Ohio, and moved to Bloomington, Illinois, in 1869 with his wife Gerta (Troyer) Miller. In 1877, they moved to Seward County, Nebraska, where they purchased land and helped to establish the East Fairview Amish Mennonite Church.
Made up of sixteen letters, the collection includes details about land sales and prices and the activities of Amish Mennonites from Holmes County, Ohio, and elsewhere who sought to profit from the acquisition and sale of land in Nebraska.

A small, fragmentary collection of personal papers consisting of photographs, programs from various mission meetings and church programs in or near Elida, Ohio, a land deed between the Swartz and Snell families, and biographical information about Bishop Samuel Coffman.

Sermon notes and outlines created by a minister of the (old) Mennonite Church who served Bethel Mennonite Church in Wadsworth, Ohio. Rohrer was ordained in 1917.
Rohrer, Samuel D., 1879-1955
A small collection of miscellaneous materials created and collected by Jacob S. Moser, who apparently worked as a pharmacist in Orrville, Ohio. Materials include two letters from Bendicht Spichti, a broadside telling of Solomon Herschi's suicide, an accound book, a record of patients treated [?], and notebooks and clippings contining recipes and information about various remedies. Also includes a notebook containing records of garments knitted and sewed for others.
The collection is primarily in German, with some English notes.
