Postcard : scenic landscape

The picture side includes snow, water, trees, sky , and clouds. The message side consists of a letter addressed "Dear Mama" from her son Dietrich, and is sent for the occasion of her birthday. It is dated 17 Oct 1908 in Schoenfeld, and postmarked 20 Oct 1908. The recipients name and address is in Russian.

Postcard mailed at sea

This item is a postcard that was sent to Joh. Enns, while he was being hosted by Norman Shantz of Preston, Ontario. The writer signed dated the card 25 Sept 1924, addressed it to his siblings (Lieber Geschwister), signed it D.? Rempel. There are Canadian postage stamps on the postcard, with the cancellation stamp which has the followed text, "PAQUEBOT / Posted at Seat / Received 3 Oct 24 / Liverpool." On the image side of the postcard, a partial postal stamp is visible which reads, "Preston / AM / O?? 16 /."
The image was perhaps the ship that was departing for Quebec, with which Rempel hoped to sail.

Shows a girl standing on a raised plaform, wearing a long formal dress. The capiton on the bottom presuably gives her name, "M.K. Nezhehdavov."
