Czar Cannon at the Kremlin in Moscow

This is a photo postcard of the Tsar Cannon on display on the grounds of the Moscow Kremlin. It is a monument of Russian artillery casting art, cast in bronze in 1586 in Moscow, by the Russian master bronze caster Andrey Chokhov. Mostly of symbolic impact, it was never used in a war. The postcard was sent by "David" (David Wiebe (1885-1937) to his family with message that he had examined it and been told that the bore was so large that it would fit 3 men lying in it. He wanted this card to be preserved.
