This series consists of materials generated by Al Reimer based on the works of the three authors (Dietrich Neufeld, Hans Harder, Arnold Dyck) and by the authors themselves, and by Reimer’s colleagues.

Alternative Service in Russia and Canada

This series consists of correspondence related to reunions of men who were in the forestry service in Russia, as well as the Alternative service rendered by conscientious objectors (C.O.'s) in Canada. There are 196 slides pertaining to Forstei workers in Russia and the Alternative Service of C.O.'s in Canada with an accompanying sound recording. There is also a manuscript written by a young American Mennonite soldier of World War I.
