A small set of documents from the files of former Associated Mennonite Biblical Seminary (AMBS) board member Evelyn Shellenberger.  Duplicate documents found in X-18-001 were removed from Shellenberger's files for the convenience of researchers.  Materials include correspondence from and about John Howard Yoder regarding his harassment of women and his continued presence at AMBS.

A small set of files pertaining to John Howard Yoder.  Materials include correspondence regarding Yoder's seminar at Eastern Mennonite University in January 1997 and former Associated Mennonite Biblical Seminary (AMBS) president Nelson Kraybill's correspondence regarding John Howard Yoder in 1997 and 1998.

Documents pertaining to the process by which John Howard Yoder and his employer, then Associated Mennonite Biblical Seminary (AMBS), navigated difficult personal and institutional relationships created by Yoder's sexual indiscretions and harrassment of women.  These materials were collected and created by then seminary president Marlin E. Miller.  Materials include documents pertaining to Yoder's ordination and church membership, contracts with AMBS, Yoder's papers on singleness, marriage, and sexuality and AMBS faculty members' responses, materials pertaining to Yoder's covenant group at AMBS, documents about his resignation, and correspondence with various parties during and after Yoder's period of employment at AMBS.

Official records of Africa Inter-Mennonite Mission, a missionary organization with joint support from several Mennonite and Anabaptist-related denominations. Originally founded as the Congo Inland Mission in 1911, the organization changed its name to Africa Inter-Mennonite Mission in 1972 and expanded its ministry to include Lesotho, Botswana, South Africa, and Burkina Faso. These records are divided into three series:  Early Records, 1977-1983, 1991; Editorial Council Minutes, 1977-2003; and Correspondence, 1983-2004.

The Mennonite Environmental Task Force, a joint Mennonite Church / General Conference Mennonite Church committee, was formed in 1991 and was active until 2004, when it was recreated under Mennonite Church USA as the Creation Care Network. These records reflect the work of the committee to integrate environmental concerns into the practice of the Mennonite faith. Materials include meeting minutes, email and other correspondence, and information about the publication of the book Creation and the Environment: An Anabaptist Perspective on a Sustainable World.

The collection includes recordings, programs and ribbons from the Mennonite Youth Choir Festival from 1992 to 2010.

This collection consists of the official records of the Indiana Mennonite Women's Missionary Rally Committee.  Documents include meeting minutes, correspondence, registration lists, rally programs and posters, and financial reports.  The collection also includes sound recordings from the 1979 and 2003 rallies.

The collection consists of the administrative records of both the national coordinating or steering committee for Seniors for Peace, as well as the Goshen, Ind. chapter of Seniors for Peace.  Records include meeting minutes, correspondence, newsletters, local programming posters, and other miscellaneous materials.  Researchers should note that coordinating committee minutes are sometimes interfiled with those of the local chapter.

Records of an Anabaptist-sponsored peacemaking organization founded in the 1980s.  Materials are organized into three series:

Minutes, reports, newsletters, financial statements, and miscellaneous materials created by a Mennonite prison ministry that strove to plant churches in Indiana correctional facilities, represented the Mennonite Church to prison administrators, advocated for legislation to assist offenders and their families in Indiana and Michigan, promoted awareness of offender ministry within congregations, and assisted the families of offenders and those recently released from incarceration. Abe Peters and Al Wengerd served in ministry positions with the Mennonite Steering Committee on Corrections.
