Documents pertaining to the process by which John Howard Yoder and his employer, then Associated Mennonite Biblical Seminary (AMBS), navigated difficult personal and institutional relationships created by Yoder's sexual indiscretions and harrassment of women.  These materials were collected and created by then seminary president Marlin E. Miller.  Materials include documents pertaining to Yoder's ordination and church membership, contracts with AMBS, Yoder's papers on singleness, marriage, and sexuality and AMBS faculty members' responses, materials pertaining to Yoder's covenant group at AMBS, documents about his resignation, and correspondence with various parties during and after Yoder's period of employment at AMBS.

Official records of Africa Inter-Mennonite Mission, a missionary organization with joint support from several Mennonite and Anabaptist-related denominations. Originally founded as the Congo Inland Mission in 1911, the organization changed its name to Africa Inter-Mennonite Mission in 1972 and expanded its ministry to include Lesotho, Botswana, South Africa, and Burkina Faso. These records reflect the work of the committee to integrate environmental concerns into the practice of the Mennonite faith. Materials include meeting minutes, email and other correspondence, and information about the publication of the book Creation and the Environment: An Anabaptist Perspective on a Sustainable World.

Minutes, reports, newsletters, financial statements, and miscellaneous materials created by a Mennonite prison ministry that strove to plant churches in Indiana correctional facilities, represented the Mennonite Church to prison administrators, advocated for legislation to assist offenders and their families in Indiana and Michigan, promoted awareness of offender ministry within congregations, and assisted the families of offenders and those recently released from incarceration. Abe Peters and Al Wengerd served in ministry positions with the Mennonite Steering Committee on Corrections.
