They had 6 children: John Alvin b. 20 Jul 1940, Mary Viola b. 9 Sep 1941, William Leonard b. 4 Nov 1943, Bernhard Edvin b. 9 Mar 1945, Erwin David b. 5 June 1948 and Dennis Ronald b. 15 Dec 1954, all in Wininipeg.
