A ledger book of sermons written by a minister and bishop of Partridge Mennonite Church (Metamora, Ill.).  Contains six funeral sermons, a sermons about marriage, a sermon about baptism, and a number of sermons on specific scriptures.  Scattered diary entries may also be found in the ledger book.  The collection includes a preservation photocopy of the ledger book, a German transcription, and an English translation of the sermons.  Also includes an undated manuscript assumed to be Esch's.

The collection includes handwritten Amish-Mennonite sermons from Christian Lehmann, who was a minister of a Mennonite congregation in Saarburg, France. In addition, the collection includes translations of most of these materials into English by John Umble from 1959-1960.

Included in this collection are notices of Clayton F. Derstine's early speaking engagements, a sermon given in 1940, and a condensed version of the biographical sketch that appeared in the Canadian Mennonite in 1966.

Personal papers of an (old) Mennonite Church pastor and conference minister and his wife.  These papers are divided into two series:

(1) Cleo A. Mann Papers, 1939-1980

(2) Nellie Miller Mann Papers, 1920-2000

Records created by Clinton Brick Mennonite Church in Goshen, Indiana. Records from the Church Council are included, as are records from the Sewing Circle, Mennonite Youth Fellowship, and other committees and commissions. Church bulletins and newsletters ("Clinton Brick Caller") are also included.

The papers were processed by Eleonore Aarsen in the Spring of 1998.  Much of the content was in no discernible order, so I rearranged those items.  This includes mostly the church records and sermons.  They are now organized by church employment eras (time periods spent pastoring a certain church), meaning that all items from any given church are together.  The whole collection is divided mainly into personal and professional.  That is why pastoral correspondence and personal correspondence are in their respective categories and not together.  Anything that was in folders, envelopes and bundles upon arrival has been kept together.  The result is that some things seem out of place.  This is especially true in the genealogy collection. Many sermons were used several times.  As a general MLA rule, miscellaneous materials are filed according to last place used (or most recent date).  This means that many sermons written in the 1940s are actually filed in the Emmanuel Mennonite Church era. Items without numbers are not in folders, but filed loosely in the order as listed.

Consists almost entirely of handwritten German sermons.

A set of personal papers created by a missionary to Argentina and later relief worker in Spain during the Spanish Civil War in the (old) Mennonite Church.  Materials include incoming correspondence, speeches and sermons, records pertaining to relief work, photographs, and miscellaneous materials.

This small collection consists of Daniel D. Brenneman's personal correspondence with other pastors in the Mennonite Church and his sermons from the Mountain View Mennonite Congregation (Kalispell, Montana) where he began his pastorate in 1942. It also includes the bulletin from his funeral in 1975.

Personal papers of a longtime advocate for stewardship education in the Mennonite Church. Of note are an unpublished memoir and a large collection of notes and outlines for speeches and sermons on the topic of Christian stewardship.
