This photo is of three women and a small boy chopping wood. According to Anna Thiessen's "The City Mission of Winnipeg" page 47-48, they are identified as left to right: Mrs. Janzen with her son, Njuta Toews and Tina Friesen. Mrs. Janzen can be assumed to be part of the family which occupied the downstairs of the house, and the other two women among the residents of the Mary Martha Home.
This is a photograph of the congregation of women at the North End Chapel on College Avenue at the "United Festival" of the Mary Martha and Ebenezer Homes.
