Orie O. Miller Correspondence and Subject Files
Orie O. Miller serced as the secretary (1925-1953) and later treasurer (1953-1965) of the Peace Problems Committee. HIs files include incoming and outgoing correspondence, manuscripts by Miller and others, clippings, and various conference reports
Christian L. Graber Correspondence and Subject Files
Graber served as treasurer of the Peace Problems Committee from 1940 to 1953. Materials document his work as treasurer, as well as his participation on the committee from 1927 forward.
In 1948 the Peace Problems Committee sponsored a series of weekend institutes on peace and nonresistance at Mennonite congregations in Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Iowa. The summer peace team, consising of John A. Hostetler, Willard Hunsberger, and John Howard Yoder, received training from Mennonite Central Committee and remained in most congrgations' communities for several days to met with congregational leaders, provide information about the draft law, distribute peace literature, and lead workshops. The program expanded in 1949, and peace educators met with more congregations over a wider geographical area. Materials in the series include reports, correspondence, and peace literature developed for the program. Researchers will find some interesting reports regarding specific congregations' peace and nonresistance stances.
World War II Draft Census and Research Files
Files compiled by Guy F. Hershberger the preparation of his book, "The Mennonite Church in the Second World War. Materials include the original draft census survey cards, analysis of the data returned in those cards, correspondence, clippings, and collected materials from various groups supporting conscientious objectors.
Personal and Family Correspondence and Writing
This series includes autobiographical and biographical essays about Christmas Carol Kauffman, an autobiography written by Kauffman's granddaughter, correspondence among Christmas Carol Kauffman, Nelson Kauffman, and Christmas Carol Kauffman's parents, and miscellaneous materials created or gathered in the course of family writing about Christmas Carol Kauffman's life.

Also included in this series are her published works of art created for Mennonite Publishing House, some original sketches, and an inventory of her artwork, as well as artwork she possessed by Vladimir Bubalo and others . Researchers should note that the Mennonite Historical Library in Goshen, Ind. holds nearly all of Sylvia Gross Bubalo's paintings and maintains a file on each one.
