Researchers seeking executive committee minutes prior to 1947 should consult series II-05-01, Mennonite Church Indiana-Michigan Mennonite Conference Governing Documents and Annual Conference Records, which contains exectuive committee minutes from 1922 to 1947.

Mennonite Church USA Indiana-Michigan Conference Governing Documents and Annual Conference Records

This series includes the constitutions of the Indiana-Michigan Mennonite Conference of the (old) Mennonite Church / Mennonite Church USA and minutes of annual conferences dating back to the 19th century and including both the minutes of the Indiana-Michigan Mennonite Conference, the Indiana Amish-Mennonite Conference, and the Indiana-Michigan Amish-Mennonite Conference.  From 1922 to 1947, executive committee minutes are interfiled with the annual conference minutes. In more recent years, reports include the minutes from the previous year's conference.

Also found in this series are materials pertaining to a conference-wide study of divorce and remarriage, minutes and correspondence related to the possibility of an independent Michigan Mennonite conference, and annual conference-related correspondence.

Files documenting the Indiana-Michigan Conference's suspension of John Howard Yoder's ministerial credentials because of sexual misconduct and the ensuing disciplinary process. Researchers will find twelve folders of materials authored by conference administrators, the Indiana-Michigan Conference Church Life Commission, John Howard Yoder's accountability and support group, and John Howard Yoder himself. Documents include correspondence, reports, meeting minutes, and follow-up documentation provided by the conference in 2013 and 2014.

Rachel Waltner Goossen Collection on John Howard Yoder

Documents collected and oral histories recorded during the course of Goossen's research on John Howard Yoder's sexual abuse of women.  Goossen's research was published in an article entitled, "'Defanging the Beast': Mennonite Responses to John Howard Yoder’s Sexual Abuse" (Mennonite Quarterly Review 69 (January 2015).  Materials in this collection include documents collected by various individuals close to John Howard Yoder, the various intervention attempts, and the disciplinary process, Goossen's correspondence with various sources close to the events, documents collected by Goossen herself, and ten oral history interviews.

A small set of personal papers, primarily correspondence, documenting ministry, congregational life, and conflicts a northern Michigan congregations of the (old) Mennonite Church. Other materials in the collection include correspondence, reports, and programs of the Michigan Mennonite Ministers' Fellowship (1955-1970), minutes of the Indiana-Michigan Conference Area Ministers' Council #2 (Northern Lower Michigan) (1967-1977), and correspondence and interviews concerning a conflict in the Coldsprings Mennonite Church (Mancelona, Mich.) in 1973.

Wickey,who was ordained a pastor at South Colon Mennonite Church in 1956, appears to have served at the Maple River Mennonite Church (Brutus, Mich.) from the early 1960s through the late 1970s.
