This collection includes materials on the Global Mennonite History Project, Mennonite Board of Missions documents, a transcript of an interview with Roy and Florence Kreider, correspondence, and an annotated survey of inter-Mennonite relations in 1974 and 1987.

The papers contain a hodgepodge of information pertaining to Ruth and Rhoda Resslers' various stints in Japan as mission and relief workers. Materials include correspondence, activity reports, the newsletter of the Hokkaido Mennonite Fellowship, miscellaneous materials relating to Mennonite mission work in Japan, and financial records. The Resslers' papers also contain a number of photographs, scrapbooks, and a handful of slides. Researchers should be aware, however, that many of the images are not labeled. The collection holds a several audiocassettes as well: recorded lectures presented by the Resslers in Japan, an oral history interview with Rhoda and Ruth Ressler, and a multi-tape oral history with Rhoda Ressler. Also included is an 1889 statement on dress and prayer coverings, unrelated to Mennonite mission work in Japan.

The collection includes biographical information, trip diaries, presentation notes, and sermon materials of Paul M. and Ann Keener Gingrich.  The Gingerichs served as missionaries in Ethiopia, and Paul Gingerich later provided leadership for the Mennonite Board of Missions.

Personal papers of a pastor, missionary, and administrator who served in Argentina and Uruguay from 1925 to 1967 and cofounded Mennonite Renewal Services in 1975. Researchers should note that the volume of materials documenting the life of Ada Ramseyer Litwiller is quite small. The collection is divided into the following series:

The collection includes minutes, correspondence, and activity booklets of the Mennonite Youth Fellowship.

This collection contains the organizational records of Choice Books, formerly Life Line Books. Materials include annual reports, minutes, correspondence, subject files, and various other materials documenting the organization's work in distributing books ("bookrack evangelism").

Early records of the organization that evolved into the Mennonite Board of Missions and Charities, the mission agency of the (old) Mennonite Church.  Materials include a brief history of early Mennonite mission organizations, a cash book, the 1892 annual meeting report, and an early minute book containing minutes for the annual and occasional meetings of the Mennonite Evangelizing Committee (1882-1892), the Mennonite Evangelizing Board of America (1892-1896), and the Mennonite Evangelizing and Benevolent Board (1896-1906).  In 1906, this board merged with the Mennonite Board of Charitable Homes and Missions to form the Mennonite Board of Missions and Charities.

A small set of records documenting fundraising and other activities of this predecessor organization to the Mennonite Board of Missions and Charities.  These records consist primarily of letters sent to the board from 1892 to 1896, most of which included financial contributions for the board's work.  Other materials include an 1894 annual report, the treasurer's account book (1894-1896), and miscellaneous receipts (1892-1895).

Meeting minutes for this organization may be found in the records of its predecessor organization, the Mennonite Evangelizing Committee (Elkhart, Ind.), IV-001.
