Sanford Calvin Yoder Papers 1917-1974
Personal papers of an esteemed churchman of the (old) Mennonite Church. An ordained minister and bishop, Yoder served as secretary of the Mennonite Board of Missions (1921-1944) and president of Goshen College (1923-1940). His papers reflect his two simultaneous positions within Mennonite inistitutions and provide insight into the conservative / liberal struggles of the (old) Mennonite Church of the early and mid- twentieth century. His papers are divided into five series:

A small set of personal papers created by a Mennonite composer, arranger, and professor of music at Goshen College. Materials include a number of original musical compositions and arrangements, an autobiographical sketch, correspondence, conference programs and notes, various writings, and miscellaneous materials.

The collection includes a paper written on the topic of Buddhism and a Goshen College Convocation address.
Jeschke, Marlin
The collection consists of subject files on medicine, public health, and peace, as well as working files documenting Krabill's service on the Mennonite Board of Missions Health and Welfare Committee. The subject files contain a number of papers and articles pertaining to AIDS, homosexuality, and alcohol and drug abuse in the context of the Mennonite Church. Other less well documented subjects in the collecrtion include Krabill's Civilian Public Service work, mission work in Asia, career as a physician and professor at Goshen College, and his spiritual life. The collection includes more than 30 audiocassette sound recordings of speeches by Krabill and others on medicine, spirituality, Christianity, and other topics.

The collection consists primarily of correspondence concerning "A Crisis Among Mennonites: in Education: in Publication" by George R. Brunk II (1983), political and social issues, and his work with Goshen College and the Mennonite Board of Congregational Ministries. Also included in the collection is a diary of his experiences in 2008 as Interim Lead Pastor at First Mennonite Church in Berne, Ind. and sound recordings of a six sermon series preached at College Mennonite Church (Goshen, Ind.) in 1986.

These papers pertain to the work and career of a Goshen College professor of education and administrator of the college's laboratory kindergarten. Materials include annual reports of Aschliman's scholarly and community activities; annual reports of the laboratory kindergarten; correspondence and subject files dealing with the laboratory kindergarten, financial records of the kindergarten and its endowment, articles, poems, and stories published by Aschliman; papers and presentations; and miscellaneous material.

A scrapbook of correspondence from former students presented to Verna Zimmerman, associate professor of nursing at Goshen College, on the occasion of her retirement. Zimmerman served the college from 1952 to 1975.

Personal papers of Martha Smith Good, a female minister in the Mennonite Church. The collection consists primarily of sermons given throughout her career serving in as Goshen College's campus pastor as well as at Guelph Mennonite Church (Guelph, Ont.), Hillcrest Mennonite Church (New Hamburg, Ont.), Stirling Ave Mennonite Church (Kitchener, Ont.), Warden Woods Mennonite Church (Scarborough, Ont.), Oak Grove Mennonite Church (Smithville, OH), and Lombard Mennonite Church (Lombard, IL). Recurring themes in the sermons emphasize church roles in accepting and supporting members who are single, divorced, widowed, and homosexual. Some notes and correspondence related to her work in organizing the Women in Ministry Conferences in 1982 and 2000 are also included.
Good, Martha Smith, 1940-
A small set of professional papers associated with Viola Good, the Dean of Women at Goshen College. Materials document changing attitudes towards the education of women at the college and include annual reports from the Dean of Women from 1942 to 1962. Because Good was a strong supporter of international students, her papers also contain international student directories and tributes to Good written by international student alumni on the occasion of her retirement in 1977.
