This photograph is probably a family group. Not all names are given. Two women seated on the bench have infants on their laps. The barefoot women on the far left is holding an infant wrapped in a shawl and wearing a baby bonnet. She might not be a family member. Two children are seated on the ground. Several of the boys are wearing typical belted Russian tunics or blouses. The names supplied are as follows left to right in the back row:- 1.Abram Janzen, 2.unknown, 3.Johann Janzen, 4.Gerhard Pries, 5.Anna Janzen, 6.Peter Janzen; seated row:- 1.unknown female with unknown infant, 2.Katharina Pries, 3.unknown girl, 4.unknown child, 5.Katharina Janzen with unknown child on her lap, 6. unknown child, 7.Margaretha Janzen; both girl and boy seated on the ground are not named. The group is in front of a brick building with a window on the left. The ground is also of laid bricks.

This is a photograph of eight people sitting on steps leading to the entrance of the house. There are two men and six women. The women are dressed in summer clothing. Katharina Priess is sitting on the knee of Franz Janzen, behind them is Anita Enns. In the centre is Gerhard Priess with Katharina Janzen behind him. On the far right in the bottom is Katharina Janzen, behind her is Margaretha Enns then Katharina Pauls behind Margaretha. Gerhard Priess and Katharina Janzen are holding coats. On the right in the photograph there is a pair of pants hanging on a washing line.

This is a photograph of the four Pries siblings sitting on a bench in front of a tall hedge. The young men are wearing suits and the women are dressed for summer. Katharina is holding a clutch purse. Maria has short white socks. Her dress has a black ribbon tied on the left shoulder of her sleeveless dress.
L to R they are Gerhard Priess (1898-1935, Katharina Priess Priess (1903-1981), Peter Gerhard Priess (1908-1978) and Maria Priess Glasner (1911-1987).

This is a photograph of sixteen people, three of whom are children seated on the ground in front of the adults. It is a spring or summer photograph, most the the women are wearing short sleeves. Two men are wearing bow ties and three men are wearing regular ties. The photograph is taken outside.
The children are L>R Rudolf Janzen, Margaret Janzen and John Janzen. The seated adults L>R are Mararetha Enns, Johann Janzen, his wife Katharina Janzen (Dyck), and Katharina Priess (Priess). Standing in the back L>R are Franz Janzen, Katharina Priess (Janzen), Katharina Janzen, Katharina Dyck , Heinrich Janzen, Margaretha Dyck, Gerhard Priess, Anita Enns, Cornelius Wiebe.

This photograph dated May 1933 and taken in Russia is of a group of people in a garden with trees and a tall fence behind them. They may be family members or friends. The names listed on the back give no surnames. They are in the back L>R Gerhard, myself (unknown female), Willy. Seated on chair and bench L>R are Heinrich, Margaret, Anna, Katja, Tina, Marichen. On the ground L>R are Leonard and Gerhard. Tina wearing white socks and shoes is Katharina Priess (Janzen) 1910-1991. Gerhard in the front is her husband Gerhard Priess 1903-1981

This is a small photograph of Priess siblings, Peter, Katharina, and Maria (L>R). The inscription on the back reads "in winter 1925 G. Priess"; presumably that is Gerhard Priess, their brother. They are plainly dressed. Behind them is a small table covered with a fringed cloth. On this table is a domed clock and several photographs. There is a lamp on a shelf just above Maria's head.In front of the children is an open book.

This is a photograph of a Katharina Priess sitting on a stool with her son Gerhard on her lap. Both are darkly dressed. The book she is holding open features German nursery rhymes, "Hoppa, Hoppa Reiter" is visible with a little boy riding his hobby horse and "Alle mein Entchen" with a little girl looking at the ducklings in the pond.

This is a photograph of three young women all dressed in winter coats and hats. They are L to R Katharina Priess, Anna Janzen and Marie Wiebe. [They may have been cousins.] Anna, in the centre, has a long fur stole around her shoulders. She is the oldest in this group.
