Used in CM 10-29-8. Large group of baptismsl candidates of the Grace Mennonite Church (mostly young people, but some married persons). See CM for their names. The officiating pastor, G. S. Rempel stands in the middle of the front row. (The group stands in front of the Emmanuel Mission Church.)

Used in CM 16-30-20. Baptismal candidates, young people as well as married people, of the Grace Mennonite Church. In the third (back row) are: Leonard Epp, pastor of the church; Paul Peters, deacon; Julius Toews, deacon; G. S. Rempel, former pastor. As in 2010-14.288, the group stands in front of the Emmanuel Mission Church building. A report of this event was in the July 2 issue, CM 16-27-6.

The 9 members of the Extension Committee of the Evangelical Mennonite Brethren Church meeting at Stuartburn, Man. Most were pastors of various EMB churches in the US and Canada. Heinrich Rempel 1855-1926 and wife Margaret (nee Schlabach) 1853-1919 are seen in this copy of a studio photo. Behind them is their youngest child Gerhard. Age 9. (Rev. Gerhard S. Rempel) Mrs. Rempel is wearing a black lace cap (Haube) tied with a bow under her chin. Gerhard is also wearing a bow tied under the collar of his dark outfit.
