This photo shows a plaque with a number of engraved plates given to John Schellenberg for "dedicated service from 1976-1984" at the R.M. of St. Francois Xavier. The plaque includes separate plates with the names of individual reeves and councilors engraved.

This photo shows the original chair and two replicas of a chair that was made of North American materials, handcrafted and wedgework construction. It was made by the Falk family who were pioneer settlers in Southern Manitoba in 1874, and handed down to Anna (Falk) Braun, to Anna (Braun) Schellenberg , to John Schellenberg who is seen in the photo with his hand on the original. John C. Reimer, former curator of the MHV is also on the photo. The chairs and research have been donated to the Mennonite Heritage Village in Steinbach.
