Transportation for Mennonite Pioneer Mission

Negative also. Used in CM 7-16-7. Transportation for the MPM: pilots J. Gerbrandt & Henry Berg stand in front of 2 small airplanes. To their right is Larry Kehler, Mi., with the missions snowmobile. C.f. 14.4258. A 2nd similar neg. for photo, one with a full view of the snowmobile and one of the men in front of it. Also, 2 negs of the pilots, Gerbrandt and Berg (at left) with H. J. Logs to build a school

Used in CM 3-47-6 & 7-16-6. Logs that were cut in the bush are being dragged up the bank by some of the First Nations men helping on the project of building a school. C.f. 14.2995 & 14.2996 for the other 2 photos of this group.

A house on Bloodvein Reserve

Caption on back reads: "Where M.P.M. is building station. A house on the Bloodvein Indian Reserve. It appears to be a good size. However at the time I visited the large part was not in use at all due to a need of repairs. A family of five were living in the small right section of the house.. Miss Helen Willms, Matheson Island." Used in CM 3-44-1. See also CM 7-16-6.
