Teil vonLawrence Klippenstein's Mennonite Memories book photos
This is a photo of a float in the parade at the centennial celebration, Neubergthal. There are four men in clown costumes (brommtopp maks) and four women in period costumes on the float. The brommtopp is on the left near the front of the float. Photo description by Val Friesen, daughter of Jake Schwartz "(Jake K. Schwartz) in clown costume, wearing no mask (and who built the Brommtopp). Next to him I suspect it is Menno Kehler (deceased) who was our neighbour; seated Eva & Jake (Shorty) Hamm; unsure of child on lap; don't know the next clown but waving behind him is Janet Hamm; next I suspect is Anne Kehler (wife to Menno) and the far right is my mother Eva Schwartz."
