Completed examinations of prospective faculty members, many of whom were hired to teach at Goshen College, Hesston College, and La Junta School of Nursing.  Examinations contain biographical information and answers to questions regarding applicants' sympathy towards the Dortrecht Confession, the policies of the Mennonite Board of Education, and the conduct standards of the Mennonite Church.  Some examinations also have brief, but insightful notes about the candidates written by examiners.

These records document a scholarship program for minority students of high academic potentential attending Mennonite high schools (Bethany Christian School, Central Christian School, Eastern Mennonite School, and Iowa Mennonite School).  Materials include correspondence, financial records, minutes of advisory committee meetings, and other administrative records.

Initally, High-Aim was overseen by the Mennonite Board of Missions.  In the mid 1970s, the program was transferred to the Mennonite Board of Education.

The minutes of the Mennonite Board of Education consist of both the fall / winter annual meeting minutes (and concomitant reports issued at the annual meeting) and the executive board meeting minutes.   The minutes not only document the core activities and concerns of the Mennonite Board of Education, but also provide information about the schools under the jurisdiction of the board.  From approximately 1976 forward, meeting dockets have been preserved.  This record series is not entirely complete.
