Files pertaining to the production of and distribution of a video series featuring stories of persons living out their Christian faith.  All God's People videos were 30 minutes long and were marketed to congregations, television broadcasters, information centers, and home viewers.  Researchers should note that the videos themselves are not in this record series.

Annual and other reports created by the  broadcasting department of the Mennonite Board of Missions.  Researchers will find in these reports overviews of the work of Mennonite Media Ministries and financial reports, Researchers should note, however, that the reports are incomplete:  1958-1959, 1964-1965, 1967, 1969-1970, 1979-1981.

Files pertaining to radio spots and brief radio programs marketed to Mennonite congregations to educate the non-Mennonite population about the Mennonite Church and provide "an upfront invitation to consider Christ."  Researchers should note that recordings of these spots and programs are not included in this series.

Also includes some Mennonite Media division minutes and reports.

This collection contains the organizational records of Choice Books, formerly Life Line Books. Materials include annual reports, minutes, correspondence, subject files, and various other materials documenting the organization's work in distributing books ("bookrack evangelism").

Files pertaining to the Choice radio program, a primarily domestic evangelism program that ran for thirteen seasons.  Materials include scripts, reports, testimonies, and station sheets.  Researchers should note that recordings of the Choice radio program are not available in this series.

These records were generated by listener response to Mennonite radio programming, particularly the Mennonite Hour (1951-1979) and Heart to Heart (1950-1975). Mennonite Media (then called called Mennonite Broadcasts, Inc.) employed staff to handle listener correspondence.  The Mennonite Hour also had an extensive home Bible study program that generated further correspondence.

In the mid-1990s these files were sampled; only 5% (every twentieth set of correspondence) of the original correspondence was retained.  The other 95% was destroyed. From this sampling, however, researchers can get a sense of the questions asked and responses offered.

Incoming correspondence is filed by listener's last name.  Topic files are are response letters to individual letter writers from the counseling staff.

Contains the correspondence and subject files of Ken Weaver, the director of Mennonite Media. Project files on various radio spots, videos, and paper tracts and ads are included, as is correspondence with a variety of people and organizations associated with Mennonite Media.

Administrative files pertaining to a variety of print and audio visual evangelistic material produced by Mennonite Media.  Materials include correspondence, reports, and information on fund-raising and production.

Minutes, reports, evaluations, newsletters, radio station correspondence, and miscellaneous records concerning a weekly women's evangelistic radio program that ran from 1950 through 1977.  Heart to Heart was succeeded by Your Time.

Records of correspondence Bible classes sponsored by the media division of the Mennonite Board of Missions.  Although home Bible studies began in 1955, the bulk of these records were created in the 1970s.

Files documenting the production and distribution of Spanish-language evangelistic broadcasting produced by and for Mennonites.  Materials include correspondence with radio stations, meeting minutes, and reports pertaining to Luz y Veridad, Corizon a Corozon, and other Spanish-language radio programs.

Meeting minutes of governing boards of and committees / working groups within the broadcasting office of the Mennonite Board of Missions.  Researchers will note that Mennonite Media ceased to have an independent board in 1981, when an administrative consolidation with the Mennonite Board of Missions made Mennonite Media a division of Mennonite Board of Missions Home Ministry.  Researchers should consult the Mennonite Board of Missions Executive Board Meeting Minutes for records reporting high-level decision-making regarding Mennonite Media from 1982 forward.
