Morija Deaconess Home

The Morija Deaconess Home was a private charitable institution established in 1909 for training nurses and was located in the Molotschna Mennonite settlement, Ukraine. It was closely associated with the Muntau and Ohrloff hospitals for practical training as part of the three year course. The dedication of the Morija Home was on May 32, 1910. Soon this building became too small for the program and so it was decided to build a new facility. It was sold and the construction of the new two storey Morija Deaconess Home was completed in December of 1912 The building still exists today.
