A couple at the Beardy's First Nation at Duck Lake sit in front of their house. Possibly the same man as in the four generation photo of 1994-14.2141? The log house is partially covered with plaster.
An Indigenous man stands in front of a log house in winter. Three children are also visible in the photograph. Perhaps this is a newly built home for a family. CM 7-16-7 has an article about Henry Neufeld's task of assisting people to build better houses. Probable location is Pauingassi, Manitoba. Negative also.
A lookout, built some years previous, for the village of Kleefeld in the Fernheim colony to watch the movements of Ayoreo people who were resisting settlement on their lands. Peaceful contact began to be established in 1963. Used in CM 11-23-1.

A village on the mountain slopes of Bolivia's mountains. Written on back of photograph: "Roman Catholic churches stick out their steeples in the centre of Indian villages, but they are not the solution to the lost condition of men." Not found in CM.
A young woman is walking along the stoney shore of a lake carrying a large piece of Indigenous art. Notation on the back: MR, 4 col. 11A - possibly indicating this photograph was for use in the Mennonite Reporter. Stamp on back of photo reads "Information Canada, Ottawa."
A Yavapai boy learns carpentry at a Save the Children Federation summer work camp. He helped to remodel an old building into a community centre for the reservation. Used in CM 15-24-5.
