Integration Membership Committee files

This sub-series contains the files of David Schroeder, long time Bible teacher and church leader of the Conference of Mennonites in Canada and the General Conference Mennonite Church, who was a member of the Integration Membership Committee. The records includes correspondence, submissions, reports and minutes of the activities of this committee from the time that it was appointed in mid-1998 up until it presented it report and recommendations at the St. Louis Assembly in July 1999. There are a few items of correspondence to the committee reflecting on the St. Louis ’99 process, as well as one letter of thanks to the committee members from chairman James Waltner dated July 2001.

CMBC campus

This photo is an aerial view of the Conference of Mennonites in Canada (CMC) and Canadian Mennonite Bible College (CMBC) campus at the corner of Shaftesbury and Grant ave in Winnipeg. The new student lounge has just been completed, the sidewalk from the apartments (far right) to the Heritage centre sidewalk has been removed. New soil has been brought in after the construction of the lounge, which is visible in the courtyard between the new lounge (attached to the residence) and the Mennonite Heritage Centre archives. -- Note: the photo is mounted and with the mounting board the entire size is 50.5 x 43 cm and will be placed in the oversized section.
