Klassen's <i>Alternative Service for Peace</i> lists a Stanley Johnson (Montreal River, Ontario), Milton Noake (Stevensville, Ontario) and Ben Bergen (Reesor, Ontario) as conscientious objectors. "Straw bosses" were Alternative Service workers with additional responsibilities.
