71th Red Cross division's 5th packhorse transport

Two men, dressed for cold weather beside their pack-horses and one ill person on the stretcher; transport of the 7th Red Cross. There were 50 of these teams and some heavy mountain wagons completely equipped, but without arms (guns) division on unsuitable wagon trails.

Abram Peters and Jakob Reimer

A photo of Abraham Peters (left), minister of the Mennonite Brethren church and son of the Margenau Elder Peters. Peters died in Canada, just like his father, at a very advanced age. Bernhard B Harms and Katharina (Thessmann) Harms and daughters

Bernard B. Harms and Katharina (Thessmann) Harms with their two daughters (who are wearing identical ornate collars) are, Katie 4 yrs of age sitting on Bernard's lap and Margaretha 6 months sitting on a high stool in the middle of the parents.
Their daughter Margaretha is not listed on the Canadian Mennonite Board of Colonization # 2507. GRANDMA lists another daughter Margaretha - was she born after they immigrated to Canada?

George Brunk revival meetings in Abbotsford, BC. in the summer of 1958. These revival meetings were started by two Mennonites from Virginia — brothers George and Lawrence Brunk. They conducted revival meetings in many communities across North America.
