FINDING AID IN PROGRESS
Funk, John F., 1835-1930
Because Funk wrote longer entries than many diarists of his era, his diaries are a rich source of information about his personal and professional life. In addition to his daily diaries, researchers will find in this series scattered cash books (which have occasional diary-like entries) and journals kept while traveling. A diary from an unknown individual from Hamburg, Ontario may be found in the Miscellaneous Materials folder.
Researchers should note that there are no diaries present for the years 1864 to 1871.
