This fonds contains oral interviews gathered on the subject of labour history from the view of Mennonite business owners and Mennonite employees and well as the history of Westgate Mennonite Collegiate in Winnipeg. The workers were selected from different gender and social classes. The content formed the basis for Thiessen's thesis on labour history of Russian Mennonites, a book on unions, and history of the private Mennonite high school, Westgate.

A small set of personal papers documenting the ministry and personal life of a pastor of the (old) Mennonite Church.  Materials include an autobiography, scattered diaries of Hartzler as well as his first and second wives, sermon and Bible course notes, and miscellaneous materials.  Also includes photographs of J.S. and Fannie Stutzman Hartzler and photographs and postcards from J.S. Hartzler's trip to India, the Middle East, and Europe in 1910-11.

Papers of a Mennonite women who began her career as a secretary in Mennonite organizations and transitioned into ministry in the 1970s and 1980s.  Fisher served on the pastoral team of College Mennonite Church (Goshen, Ind.) and as an overseer of Waterford Mennonite Church (Goshen, Ind.).  Her papers include correspondence, sermons and presentations, worship materials, photographs, audiotapes of sermons preached at College Mennonite Church, and miscellaneous materials.

The richest documentation in this small collection consists of a handwritten history of the Alumni Association of Goshen College and Elkhart Institute (1908), in which she provides statistics about the alumni and profiles a number of graduates.  Also included in the collection are a number of programs and ephemera from Goshen College commencement ceremonies and local Mennonite church events.
