The Conference of Mennonites Mission Board began a work in North Battleford, Saskatchewan in 1952. In 1953 a meeting house was rented. In 1959 a congregation was organized. In 1968 the membership was 32. By 1980 the membership had dropped slightly to 24. In 1986 it changed its name from the North Battleford Mennonite Church to the Hope Mennonite Fellowship.
