Scope and content

Guy F. Hershberger served as executive secretary of the Peace Problems Committee from 1959 to 1964, when the Peace Problems Comittee merged with the Committee on Economic and Social Relations to form the Committee on Peace and Social Concerns.  Hershberger, however, was a member of the committee for a number of years prior to holding office.  Hershberger's correspondence and subject files hold information about the latter years of the Peace Problems Committee.
