Edmund Janzen and other volunteers drying peaches

This is a photo of Edmund Janzen, centre, and other volunteers cutting peaches and removing the pits to prepare them for drying. The MCC peach drying project, located at Ted Friesen's and Justina Friesen's farm near Reedley, Calif. processes nearly 10,000 pounds of dried peaches annually. The peaches are sold at relief sales and SELFHELP shops and the profits go to support MCC programs.
