Born 9 August 1888, Lehigh, Kansas. Parents Jacob Isaac and Maria Voth. Baptized 1903 at West Zion Mennonite Church, Moundridge, Kansas. Graduated 1912 from Bethel College. Taught on Ute reservation in Colorado 1912-1913. Also taught at Rosthern Academy in Saskatchewan.
Married Anna F. Penner 14 October 1914. From 1914-1918 they worked for the Who-So-Ever-Will Mission in Los Angeles, and he was pastor of the Woodlake, California, Mennonite Church.
Missionaries in India 1921-1946. Died 12 Oct 1946, Champa, India.
