Farm buildings on Lot 5, Con. 3, South Easthope

Left side of photograph contains red equipment shed, center of photograph contains long white house, with red barn visible behind it. Silos are to the right of the barn. Roth notes "The one 1/2 story brick house was built by/for Daniel Schrag (after 1861). A "Doddyhaus" was added to the east end. The woodshed and summer kitchen at the west end were replaced with a breezeway, providing a cover to the basement and a garage. The barn was built in 1915 - in 1999 it has been greatly altered".

Left side of photograph in middle ground has gray wooden barn, in centre and foreground of photo is a sign "Hiltoper Holsteins". To right of sign in middle ground is a white house. Roth notes "The house of frame construction was built after 1860. It was built in the same design (Gothic gable window and front door surrounded by glass panels) as that of Daniel and Magdalene Brenneman".

View of brick house from the front. Roth notes "Farm occupied by Nicholas Roth Sr and Anna Shantz 1836-1847, by Benedict and Catherine (Brenneman) Roth. Windows in either side, 2nd floor have been bricked in, at least one window at right on 1st floor has been bricked in. House built after 1861 by/for Benedict and Catherine (Brenneman) Roth.
