This fonds contains three diaries the first from 1945 until 1987 which appears to have been recopied. The first diary gives memoirs and accounts of Penner’s time in India including personal stories, politics, weather, and major news events. The first diary also includes loose pages in the back from 1981 and 1993, other loose pages are included with no specified year. The second diary spans from 1988 until 1990, and the third from 1990-1992. These two diaries are from Penner’s retirement in Winnipeg, Manitoba and include memoirs, personal experiences, news, and medical topics such as AIDS. Penner’s bible has prayers and notes throughout, in the back there is a short timeline of her first trip to India.
In addition, This fonds contains a letter written by Penner to her adoptive relative Doreen Loewen in 1956 while she was in India, recounting her work in the hospital and teaching Sunday school. Finally, also included are Penner's business card and two pins; one of these pins is a nursing pin, and the other contains a photo of her late parents.

Personal papers of B. Frank and Esther Johnson Stoltzfus, who served as missionaries, educators, and administrators at multiple American colleges in Bulgaria, Lebanon, and Turkey from 1924 to 1960. Materials consist of diaries, correspondence, teaching records, writings, and family photographs. Of particular interest are a series of 1947 dispatches written to Floyd H. Black, President of the Sofia American College, which document Stoltzfus’s experiences in and impressions of Bulgaria during the early years of the country’s communist regime.

Photocopies of diaries documenting Ebersole's experiences as a conscientious objector during World War I.  Also includes scattered correspondence and a list of conscientious objectors at Camp Meade (Maryland).

This fonds consists of a photocopy of a diary written by Bernhard Hamm which describes the journey to Canada, settling on the East Reserve and then moving to the West Reserve to the village of Neubergthal. A portion of the diary has been transcribed.

Diary of Peter D Friesen - Translated and condensed by his son, Ralph Friesen, Berkshire Bay, Winninpeg, MB, in August, 1982. (32 pages)

This series contains a dairy by David Stoesz (1842-1903), correspondence several sermons, a wedding invitation from the Bergthal Colony, an early school organization record, handwritten book of hymn melodies, and a few books. Of special interest is a book bought by David Stoesz in 1861, published in 1834, originally written by Menno Simons and published in 1575.

These papers consist primarily of incoming professional, pastoral, and personal correspondence.  Of particular note are the two folders of incoming and outgoing correspondence between basketball coach Bobby Knight and Bob Detweiler (1971-1987).  Additional materials in the collection include sermon notes and outlines and dairies from Detweiler's college and seminary years.

Transcription of the diary of a Mennonite medical missionary who served in India from 1910 until his death in 1931.  The diary includes very brief activites of Esch's activities, ranging from prayer to medical duties and from administrative mission work to menial labor.
