This photo is published and described in Kaethe Klassen's "My father Franz C. Thiessen", p. 41, as follows: Teacher and wives at farewell gathering for F.C. Thiessen and Jak. Toews, leaving for service in W.W. I, April 1915.
The names are identical as Gerhard Lohrenz' publication except for back row in the middle, the woman is identified as Margarete Isaak, not Anna; and the woman in the front right corner on the floor is identified as Elizabeth Batalova. -- AHR
