John Dennis on behalf of the Mennonite community in recognition of his role in bringing the Mennonites out of Russia to Canada in the 1920s though the Canadian Pacific Railway (CPR). The presentation was part of a service of thanksgiving on behalf of the Mennonite community held at the Coaldale Mennonite Brethren Church.
