Loon Straits staff meeting

This photograph shows Henry Gerbrandt getting some exercise at a staff meeting (chopping wood). Others shown are: J.N. Braun, Edwin Brandt, Larry Kehler, Otto Hamm. Four of the men have cameras and two are capturing the scene. The M.P.M snowmobile is in the background.

Delegates to CMC meeting in Niagara-on-the-Lake, 1956

Negatives only, 2. Group photo of the 80 or more delegates (all men) to the CMC meeting in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ont. in July, 1956. In one neg. the photographer is adjusting his panorama camera & part of the group is seen closer up in the background. In the other neg. the whole group is seen (the photographer is in front of the first row, back to camera). Taken on the grounds of Eden Christian College where the mission festival was held.

Missionary Group

This photo shows a group of 11 women and 7 men, arranged in four rows. One woman in the front row is holding a camera which appears to be a Brownie Flash III model. The two men in the back row are most likely the twin brothers, S.F. and C.L. Pannabecker. C.L. was the medical superintendent at the Kai Chow hospital, and C.L. was principal at the Bible school and editor of teh missions paper called "The China-Home Bond."

This photo is of Bill Reimer with a microfilm machine in a van. The photo was taken while Reimer and J.B. Toews were travelling across Canada and the U.S., microfilming MB Church records for preservation at the Centre for Mennonite Brethren Studies.
