This is a photo taken of participants at the "Altenfest" ( seniors' reunion) at Winkler Bible Camp, Burwalde, Manitoba on July 31, 1966. Approximately 100 men and women dressed in Sunday attire, including hats for the women, pose in neat rows against the backdrop of tall trees.

This photo is of (l-r) Frank Brown, Herb Van Bergen, William Schroeder, and Arnie Neufeld standing at Dead Horse Creek, the site of the first MB baptism in Canada (30 May 1886). The photo was taken to mark 100 years since this first baptism.
